CMT Brand Ambassador Samirah Moody Selected to Team USA for World Athletics Relays
Cambridge, MA — April 23, 2026 — Cambridge Mobile Telematics (CMT), the world’s largest telematics and AI company for safer mobility, today announced that CMT Brand Ambassador Samirah Moody will represent Team USA at the World Athletics Relays in Botswana, following her selection to the U.S. roster by USA Track & Field. Moody, one of the fastest-rising sprinters in U.S. track and field, will compete in the mixed 4×100 meter relay, a team event featuring two men and two women.
Moody joined CMT as a Brand Ambassador following years with the company, where she first worked as an intern before emerging as one of the top sprinters in the country. In 2025, she won the NCAA Outdoor Championship in the 100 meters, anchored the University of Southern California’s national championship 4×100 meter relay, and posted some of the fastest times in USC history. She currently ranks inside the top 60 globally in both the 100 and 200 meters according to World Athletics.
The selection marks Moody’s debut on the senior U.S. national team and places her among a small group of athletes chosen to represent the country on the global stage. The World Athletics Relays serve as a key qualifying event for international competition and bring together the top relay teams from across the world.
“Samirah has been part of the CMT family for years, and watching her earn a spot on Team USA is a proud moment for all of us,” said William V. Powers, Co-Founder and CEO of CMT. “She has always led with discipline, preparation, and a standard of excellence that inspires everyone around her. Representing your country on the world stage is one of the highest honors an athlete can achieve, and Samirah has earned it through years of hard work, focus, and belief in herself. She is already inspiring the next generation of leaders and champions, and we could not be prouder to stand behind her as she carries that example to Botswana.”
“Representing Team USA is something I’ve worked toward my entire life, and I’m honored to get the chance to do it in Botswana,” said Moody. “Every race comes down to the work you put in before you ever step on the track. CMT has been part of my journey for years, and the lessons I learned there, about preparation, focus, and showing up every day, are the same ones I carry into every training session and every start line. I’m grateful to my coaches, my teammates, my family, and the CMT team for believing in me. Now it’s time to go compete.”
The World Athletics Relays will be held in Botswana on May 2-3.
