Seattle’s Safest Driver

Cambridge Mobile Telematics partnered with the City of Seattle and PEMCO Insurance to launch Seattle’s Safest Driver, an app-based safe driving competition, complete with cash prizes and bragging rights. The 2-month competition seeks to change behavior and support Seattle’s Vision Zero goal of ending traffic deaths and serious injuries on city streets by 2030. The app uses the phone’s sensors to measure driving quality including acceleration, braking, cornering, speeding and phone distraction giving you useful feedback to help you become a better driver.
